Karim Sadjadpour, senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, focuses on Iran and U.S. foreign policy toward the Middle East – a region crucial to the interests of the United States. He is considered a leading authority, advising heads of state, military leaders and foreign ministers on political, economic, cultural and geopolitical dynamics. Karim  is a regular contributor to The Atlantic, and has written for TIME, Foreign Affairs, The New York Times, The Economist and The Washington Post. He is a frequent guest on the PBS NewsHour, NPR, and CNN’s Fareed Zakaria GPS; and has also appeared on the Colbert Report, Today and NPR’s Fresh Air. This conversation will focus on some of the most important current  topics in foreign policy and the complexities of the Middle East.
